The Ace Crab: A Premier Seafood Experience in National City

Combo for 2 add 1 lb snowcrab legs with the Aces flavor (sauce on the side) was perfect. Keep in mind you can only get sauce on the side if you dine in at places like this with seafood boils. If you order to go or take out you of course are not gonna get sauce on the side. The flavor of the seafood was good even without the sauce. Idk what these other ppl talking about but to be in National City this spot is pretty good if you ask me. Some of y'all go to places like this in the hood but expect Eddie V’s or something. Come on now. Update: they aren’t doing sauce in the side anymore *

What a great surprise! A couple of guys from Denver, camping at the KOA suggested trying ACE Crab out - so glad we took their suggestion! what a slice of Louisiana heaven tucked into a corner of San Diego!! We got the SSK COMBO (1/2 LB OF SEAFOOD) Shrimp, Snow Crab Leg, King Crab Leg, Corn, Potatoes & Sausage w Old Buttery sauce in mild, to go & let them know we would be picnicking with it at J Street Marina. They packed a feast with plenty of napkins bibs/aprons/gloves & tableware! my friend & I chowed down until we were stuffed, shared a few bites with out pups & still have some sausage & a few bites left for a snack later. & DID I say it was delicious!!

A good seafood place! Food was really tasty. We got the seafood combo, fish and chips, chicken wings and calamari. I just hoped they have chicken options on the combos as it is also great with the sauce they have! Service was good but they were a bit busy with the audit in going on when we went there.

The Ace Combination special was excellent with the House special sauce. The 1 lbs combo for 4 was plenty enough for 6 of us with the side orders of Fried Pickles, Onion Rings and Hush Puppies. I’m still burning garlic. So yummy!!!

The food here is not bad for national city. I am glad this place is open. Their calamari with waffle fries are delicious. The gumbo was good and their seasoning for the shrimp boil was tasty. I would give this place another try.

The owners are attentive and always around to make your experience amazing!! The SSK seafood dish is incredibly flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The food is delicious, and the presentation is beautiful. It is definitely worth the price. The flavors in each dish are perfectly balanced, and the ingredients taste incredibly fresh. This is now our favorite restaurant!! Our waiter Evelyn was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. She is always friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable.

This place is great! The price is fantastic for what you are getting and the staff is very friendly and make sure your needs are met. The food is to die for. I'm a huge fan of the clam chowder, gumbo and crab poppers. Then the main course was filling and wounderful followed by a beautiful and tasty dessert. I would highly recommend this place for dates, family outings, hanging out with friends, or any other casual outing where you are looking for good company great service and lots of tasty food!

What a delightful find for a hidden gem. First of all, the service was great. They got really busy but our server made sure we knew he was available if we needed him. We were a party of two and got the Combo for 2 with a snow crab leg add-on, Old Bay seasoning in spicy. I. Am. Obsessed. I'm going to be coming here so often. It was so richly spiced and perfectly salted. Sauce was hot and seafood was fresh. Garlic bread was a good accompaniment and I wish there was more of it only because I wanted to finish the juices from the bag. Their sauce is THAT good.
